Information for Voters
The Village of Berwyn will conduct a Municipal By-Election to fill one (1) vacant Councillor position on Village Council.
The by-election will be conducted in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act and the Municipal Government Act.

What you Need to Vote + Eligibility Details
To vote in the Village of Berwyn Municipal By-Election, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age on Election Day;

Be a Canadian citizen;

Be a resident of Alberta; and
-
Reside in the Village of Berwyn on Election Day.
ID Requirements

Voters must provide proof of their eligibility before receiving a ballot.
​
If your name appears on the Permanent Electors Register, you must present one piece of Canadian government-issued photo identification.
​
If you are not on the Permanent Electors Register, you may still vote by completing the prescribed declaration and providing proof of your identity and residential address in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act.
