The Lac Cardinal Regional Economic Development Board (LCREDB), a regional partnership between the Town of Grimshaw, the Village of Berwyn, and the Municipal District of Peace No. 135, works to support economic development across the Lac Cardinal region by assisting new and existing businesses, encouraging investment, and strengthening local communities. The Village of Berwyn provides annual funding to LCREDB to support this work and initiatives within the Village.​
