Save Fairview Campus Petition

Notice to Residents - The Fairview Campus Petition is available for signing at the Village of Berwyn Administration office. The Village of Berwyn has been asked by the Town of Fairview to make available a petition regarding the closure of the Fairview Campus of Northwestern Polytechnic.For more information about the petition or signing rules (which are very strict), please see the rules posted below, visit their website at https://www.savefairviewcampus.ca/ and get updates at Save Fairview Campus.

PETITION SIGNING RULES PLEASE READ (copied from Save Fairview Campus)

• Only Alberta residents may sign the petition.

• Original handwritten signatures only – no photocopies, scans, printed names, or digital signatures.

• Each signer must clearly print their full name and full civic address beside their signature (no PO Boxes only).

• Ensure legibility — Ask signees to write clearly, especially their printed name and address.

• Do NOT write extra comments, slogans, or statements anywhere on the petition sheet.

• use blue or black ink and avoid fading or very light ink

Note that minors can sign an Alberta Legislature petition. The Legislative Assembly of Alberta explicitly states:

• There is no minimum age requirement to sign a petition.

• The only requirement is that the signer must be a resident of Alberta
