The Village of Berwyn invites applications for the Summer Maintenance Labourer Position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Start Date: Approximately the 1st week of May 2024, for a duration of 16 weeks.
Hourly Wage: $18.00
Duties: General labour, grounds maintenance such as mowing, landscaping, identifying and eliminating noxious weeds, planting, watering flowers, and painting, maintenance and upgrading of existing infrastructure in the outdoor parks, including the playgrounds, fields, and ball diamonds as well as other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
A valid driver's license (or obtainable prior to the start date).
Physical fitness.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
Able to operate landscaping or other equipment e.g., weed-eaters, mowers (training may be provided).
