May 25–31, 2026 marks Alberta Rural Health Week, recognizing the contributions of healthcare professionals, service providers, volunteers and advocates who support rural healthcare across the province.
The Village of Berwyn would like to sincerely thank all local healthcare providers, emergency responders, support staff, volunteers and healthcare advocates for the important role they play in helping keep our communities healthy, safe and supported.
Residents are invited to view the following video from the Town of Grimshaw featuring local and Berwyn-area healthcare providers and highlighting the important role rural healthcare professionals play in supporting our communities.

The Village of Berwyn is also represented on the Grimshaw Regional Healthcare Attraction and Retention Committee (GRHARC) with Councillor Tristan Vander Klok as a member and Mayor Nicole Johnson serving as an alternate member. The committee has been working for more than a decade to help attract and retain healthcare professionals in the region and support them as they become part of the community.
